Why Is a Chemical Overhaul Necessary?

A chemical overhaul is a full restoration service for heavily choked, underperforming, or long neglected aircon units. It is required when the system suffers from:

  • Severe blockages or Mold buildup
  • Persistent water leakage
  • Aircon blowing hot air
  • Strange noises or frequent breakdowns

Unlike many providers who use harsh acid chemicals that can damage coils, Peak Cool uses only non-acid chemical solutions. These are powerful enough to clean thoroughly yet gentle enough to protect your cooling coil from corrosion and prevent long-term damage like gas leaks or system failure.

  • Every 1 to 2 years, or
  • When your aircon shows severe issues that a chemical wash cannot fix

Scope of Work

STEP 1

Complete Dismantling

Entire fan coil unit, including cooling coil, blower, and drain pan.

STEP 2

Deep Non-Acid Chemical Treatment

Safe solution applied to all parts to dissolve dirt, grease, and Mold without harming the coil. Protects against coil corrosion and material weakening.

STEP 3

High-Pressure Rinsing

Thorough flush of all components to remove residue.

STEP 4

Drainage & Pipe Cleaning

Clear stubborn clogs and ensure smooth water flow.

STEP 5

Inspection & Lubrication

Check motor bearings and lubricate moving parts.

STEP 6

Reassembly & Performance Test

Refit components and test cooling efficiency, pressure, and operation.

Note:Non-Acidic Coil Cleaner is fortified with corrosion inhibitor that protects aluminium during cleaning. However, it does not impart any protective layer or coating on aluminium.
